Watch Nvidia’s GTC 2023 keynote right here today-

With the Game Developer Conference in full swing just down the road, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang will be kicking off the company’s own event today, March 21. And you can watch the whole of the Nvidia GTC keynote right here.

The conference will start at 8am PDT (11am EDT | 3pm GMT) and is scheduled to last for a full ninety minutes. The description for what we’re to expect is pretty vague right now, stating that Jen-Hsun will be unveiling “the latest advancements in generative AI, the metaverse, large language models, robotics, cloud computing, and more.”

So expect a lot of talk about the democratisation of computing thanks to ChatGPT, and probably a good chunk of Nvidia patting itself on the back for putting such a focus into this area for so many years?

But what about gaming? There are a few more RTX 40-series cards still to launch and even to be officially announced, so there is a slight chance that there will at least be some passing reference to the RTX 4070.

The rumours are the kinda mid-range RTX 40-series GPU is set to launch on April 13 this year, with reviews of the Founders Edition cards going live the day before.

What suggests that we won’t see an announcement of the card is the leaked embargo information Videocardz has been presented with. That suggests the announcement itself is tied into the review embargo on April 12. That would mean nothing being said specifically about the new GPU at GTC today.

But what we might hear more about is how Nvidia is opening the way for more and more developers to get on board with DLSS 3 and Frame Generation by both integrating the features into its Streamline SDK as well as via a plugin for the next version of Unreal Engine.

It’s also making its RTX Path Tracing SDK available for game developers, too, should they wish to embrace the even more GPU taxing method of lighting a scene. All of these steps have been announced ahead of time, however, and are more about GDC than GTC.

So, there should still be some surprises left in store for us once Jen-Hsun takes to the stage in his current meat CEO form.

Nintendo Had To Play Detective To Find An Alleged Switch Pirate

The anonymity of the internet seems to make some people believe that they can get away with almost anything online. But Nintendo may have just given future Switch pirates some reasons to reconsider their actions after tracking down a man by playing detective online.

Earlier this year, Nintendo sued James Williams, a moderator for a Switch pirates page on Reddit who posted under the name Archbox. At the time, it wasn’t clear how Nintendo had determined that Williams was the man behind Archbox, but Game File’s new report details some of Williams’ alleged missteps along the way.

Williams’ first apparent mistake was that he posted some genuinely personal intel on Reddit that indicated he had previously attended Midwestern University and currently lived near Phoenix, Arizona. Nin…

New Elden Ring Patch Makes DLC's Final Boss Easier

The latest patch for Elden Ring has been released and it makes some changes to the Shadow of the Erdtree’s final boss, who is now easier to defeat.

According to Bandai Namco, patch 1.14 changed the boss’s action pattern when the battle starts and adjusted some attack moves. The visibility of some attack effects have been improved, and some of the boss’s damage, stamina damage, and attack range of a few non-weapon-based attacks have been decreased. While the final boss is still challenging, the changes should help more players to overcome it.

The patch also applied some balance adjustments to PvP. It decreased the damage of Backhand Blades, Spears’ dual wield attacks, and the Pata weapon against other players.

The Scattershot Throw skill had its damage decreased, and th…

Best Agency Property In GTA Online To Buy For The Contract

GTA Online’s latest expansion, The Contract, requires that players purchase a new building before getting into any of its money-making jobs. However, that building will cost players a pretty penny, and they won’t be able to get a refund, so it’s important to buy the best Agency available.

To start The Contract, players have to buy an Agency building, a high-end office where they can meet with similarly high-end clients. And to meet the expectations of any celebrity, millionaire, or musician, players will have to spend upwards of $2 million.

There are four Agency buildings in total for players to purchase, with three set close to each other around Little Seoul and the last located in Downtown Vinewood Come from
